The services of Good Shepherd Clinic of Dawson Country are made possible by the work of dedicated volunteers. Even if a person can only volunteer for limited periods of time, the clinic is interested in discussing the potential for using his/her services.
Good Shepherd Clinic Volunteer Receives National Award
Amberly Hedden, who volunteers at Good Shepherd Clinic as a pharmacist assistant while attending the University of North Georgia School of Nursing, is one of only 10 students nationally to receive a scholarship from Hurst Review in 2017. The scholarship provides financial assistance and helps prepare students for the NCLEX exam, which nursing students must pass in order to receive their license after graduation. Congratulations to Amberly, and a heartfelt thanks for her hard work as a Good Shepherd Clinic volunteer.
The Good Shepherd Clinic in Dawson Co. has been awarded a 2016 Certificate of Appreciation from the Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program.
