Thanks to the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers, Good Shepherd Clinic has had a profoundly positive effect on the lives of many patients. Following are some of their expressions of gratitude for the care they have received at Good Shepherd and the impact it has had on their lives:

“Good Shepherd Clinic has changed my life. If it had not been for Good Shepherd Clinic I would not have known that I had high blood pressure or cholesterol problems. I could have died. Also, Dr. Anderson gave me stomach medication that changed my life. Before, I was not able to eat because of terrible stomach problems…I even had to be excused from jury duty because of this problem. Now, with this medication, I have my life back.”
“Good Shepherd Clinic saved my life and my family. I was on lots of medication and could never get help for myself. I felt so bad that I suffered severe depression. The people of Good Shepherd got me out of it! The volunteers are always there for me and they show they care!”
“I went through many years looking for help with leg pain. I went to the Health Department and no one could help. The Health Department suggested Good Shepherd Clinic of Dawson County. The doctors and nurses there are all so nice and started me on a program to relieve the pain. I am finally pain FREE! Good Shepherd has helped me more than anywhere. I have been treated so well and it is nice to have someone who cares about me that much.”
“At a time in my life when I was beginning to lose faith, you took an interest in helping me with the biggest health issue that I’ve been having for years. As a result of all the hard work you put into my care, tomorrow I’m undergoing surgery to remove this horrible mass. I just want to say thank you and everyone at the Good Shepherd Clinic. You are very special people and have literally saved my life. . . . Eternally grateful!”
“To all the wonderful people who volunteer at Good Shepherd;
I want to express my heart felt appreciation for the kindness and excellent healthcare you have provided me. I cannot express fully how grateful and blessed I am to have all of you in my life. Without you I don’t know where I would be. When life threw another storm at us, I began to feel like I was sinking. My husband lost his job and became disabled. We lost all our income and could no longer afford to get my medications to treat several health issues. No income, no insurance, and rapidly losing my strength; like a beacon in a storm here you are! Thank you for helping me in being patient, caring, kind and understanding. Not only have you opened your door, but arms and hearts as well. Thank you for helping me be me!!”
It is testimonials such as these that remind everyone at Good Shepherd Clinic how important the clinic is to the patients it serves.
